Chakras – Workshop: INTRODUCTION and ROOT

First Session (Sept.23rd 2-3:30)

Get to know the energy centres of your body! This 4 week series is an opportunity to heal and learn about the seven Chakras by breaking them down weekly. We will dive deeper into the functions, malfunctions, and self healing methods. The classes will include meditation, yoga asanas, Reiki healing, and essential oils.

Join us for this 90min in depth class focused on Chakra introduction, and around the ROOT chakra. We will be diving deeper into the specific functions, malfunctions, and self healing methods for this energy centre. This active and educational class will include meditation, yoga asanas Reiki healing, and essential oils.

Fourth Session (Oct.14th 2-3:30)

Get to know the energy centres of your body! This 4 week series is an opportunity to heal and learn about the seven Chakras by breaking them down weekly. We will dive deeper into the functions, malfunctions, and self healing methods. The classes will include meditation, yoga asanas, Reiki healing, and essential oils.

Join us for an in depth 90min class focused around the THIRD EYE and CROWN chakras. We will be diving deeper into the specific functions, malfunctions, and self healing methods for each energy centre. This active and educational class will include meditation, yoga asanas Reiki healing, and essential oils.

Massage and Yin

October.1st 2pm – 4pm

Join Suzi Bird and her team of Massage Therapists and yoga adjusters for a restful two hour class of complete bliss at oxygen yoga Sherwood park. You will be guided through a gentle Yin sequence while the team provides gentle massage and adjustments to help you relax and let go. In addition there will be calming breathing exercises, meditation, candles and aromatherapy to create a blissful experience. This will be a warm class, 27-30 degrees Celsius.

Scented oil is only used at the end of class – for massage purposes please have a tank top on and long shorts or capri’s to avoid skin burn during your massage time.

Yin and Massage is beginner friendly and no yoga experience is required. If you love to stretch and love a massage this is this class for you.

Enjoy a class with gentle movements, deep stretching and mayo-fascia release. In this class we use a RAD roller tool to release tension, tightness and any adhesions. We implement this along with holding stretches for the entire body. Leave feeling balanced and as if you’ve just had a massage. Get ready to relax…

BOOTCAMP  1/2/3

A dynamic class filled with strength training and cardio. Your body will benefit from a challenging variety of exercises that will tone and shape your “summer” body. This class is not heated but it is still very warm. Get ready to kick your bootcamp up a notch!! (1 hour)

Hot Yoga Rise & Shine For A Great Day – Level 1/2/3

Begin your day with an energizing flow sequence incorporating postures that will help you to start your day off on the right foot. You will leave this 60-minute class feeling ready to tackle whatever is thrown in your path! This class is open for all levels and abilities. Please arrive to class 10 minutes early and don’t forget your mat, towel, and plenty of water!

Hot Candlelight Freedom Flow 1/2/3

Freedom Flow is a fun and dynamic routine that gradually works its way into a flowing sequence, linking various Yoga poses together. You will finish feeling energized, calm and ready to face your world. This class is open for all levels with flows that help you to connect and tap into your inner strength. Oh, and the room is warmly lit by mostly candlelight.

Hot Yoga and Pilates

Enjoy the perfect marriage of Yoga and Pilates in this flowing class. You’ll get a mellow but challenging workout, focusing on your breath and form to find that perfect balance between strength and flexibilit

Hot Bar Fusion

An upbeat and fast-moving class that is inspired by dance and uses the wall or barre for support. Using strength training and cardio to develop your ‘dancer’s body’ of long-lean muscle while improving your balance, flexibility, and range of motion. The new movements will keep your body guessing and you coming back for more.

Hot Yoga Beginners & Beyond – Level 1/2

This Beginners and Beyond classes will strengthen stretch, tone and relax your entire body. This class is more gentle and ideal for beginners, and we will offer modifications to help you get into the pose more easily. The pace of this class will be slower, so you can focus on your alignment and breath. With the infrared heat you will also allow your body to detoxify at a cellular level. This class will leave you feeling refreshed, renewed and rejuvenated.

Hot Fast and Furious Fusion Level 1/2/3

This is a Full Body Fusion class! A proven workout that will reshape and firm your glutes, legs, arms and abs with a yoga and pilates routine.

Hot Yang & Yin Yoga – Level 1/2/3

Start this energizing class with a dynamic Yang practice for the first part of the class and then mix it up with a beautiful deep stretch Yin style practice, and finish off with a wonderfully relaxing Savasana. This class is sure to have you feeling energized yet calm, invigorated yet relaxed. This practice is open to all levels. Please arrive to class 10 minutes early and don’t forget your mat, towel, and plenty of water!

Warm Buti Yoga

This is one of the many classes we offer in reduced heat. Buti Yoga workouts transform your body and soul with cardio-intensive bursts of tribal dance, primal movement and conditioning woven into a dynamic yoga practice.

Zumba

Let’s Zumba !! This is a Latin inspired dance-style fitness class. Come burn calories while having fun and there is no need for previous dance experience! This class is not heated.

Yoga and Power Core

The first half of the class will be a Freedom Flow Format. The second half will focus on strengthening your core using Pilates, Yoga, and Fitness. This class builds strength and improves posture while toning the muscles of the core. Come prepared to sweat and feel the burn! For beginners through to advanced!
